The view from the room was amazing and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The hotel was also located near popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Another advantage was the friendly staff who provided helpful information about the local area.
The hotel was unsatisfactory in many aspects. The room was small and quite old-fashioned, with outdated furniture.

Located just a short walk from the waterfront and with easy access to the historic center, this hotel/hostel offers top, notch service, comfortable rooms, and a tasty breakfast buffet. the rooms are spacious, bright, and clean, and the bathrooms are well, maintained and basic.

The reception staff were helpful and spoke good english. Wiifi internet availabale at reception.
The smell and fumes of desiel that permiates the whole hotel, with reception area / foyer being unbareable. Cleaners who smoke in their corridors during coffee breaks, smelling out our hotel room. Very noisy with external works being carried out (commencing at 7am

The room was relatively clean and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep on. The breakfast offered was a decent variety with plenty of fresh fruits and pastries to choose from. The view from the window was a nice surprise and the location was close to many bars and restaurants, making it easy for us to explore the city on New Year's Eve.
The hotel had a very old and outdated feel to it. The carpets were stained and the furniture had seen far better days. The heating in the room was nearly non-existent and it was freezing during the night. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, offering no assistance when we asked for directions to nearby attractions. it was not a great experience and we would not recommend staying here.

the breakfast is quite poor, far from city center (15 min walking) but on the way back you have to take bus, taxi, because you have to walk UP. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Best aspects were the cleanliness, helpful staff, and good breakfast. It's a downhill walk to the waterfront and uphill back, but worth it for the beautiful views. The location is just outside of the historic center, but still convenient.
Worst aspects? It was all superb!

The hotel staff were very helpful and the reception staff had a good command of English. We had a plumbing problem in our room and they acyed immediately we reported the matter.
From an aesthetic perspective, the hotel is unappealing - i.e. it is an ugly building.
